The hollow core makes it much lighter, with an open back that is attached to your wall with an interior hidden wooden ladder mounting system. Installation is simple and strong. Every shelf is distressed and hand-hewn, with attention to every detail, adding scrapes, nicks, and cracks and working with the natural characteristics of the knotted wood to bring a beautiful, aged appearance. Distressing will vary from shelf to shelf. Finished with either a hand-rubbed finish oil that gives a matte, natural look to the wood or with a low-sheen satin polyurethane finish.

HARDWARE: All mounting hardware is included for sheetrock installation. If you are installing on a masonry surface, we will provide masonry screws. (Drill bits not included)
